Meet the Brands Behind the Build: Suspension & Off-Road at Merrick Motorsports
A great build starts with the right parts, not just the longest receipt. At Merrick Motorsports, our catalog brings together the names behind the upgrades, from the suspension under your truck to the equipment that makes it ready for the next adventure.
We are starting our brand guide where a proper build should start: underneath. Meet nine suspension and off-road brands we carry, with real examples from our catalog and direct links to explore them.
This is the suspension and off-road installment of our broader vendor guide, not the complete directory. The featured products are examples of each brand's offerings in our store, not a matched package or a universal fitment recommendation.
ICON: Plan the Suspension as a System

ICON is a useful place to start when you want to think beyond lift height and consider how the suspension components work together. Our catalog includes suspension systems, replacement leaf springs and ICON Alloys wheels, giving builders several directions to explore.
One example is the Jeep Gladiator 2-Inch Stage 2 Suspension System. Its listing describes front dual-rate springs, rear triple-rate springs, 2.0 Aluminum Series shocks, front bump stops and adjustable sway-bar end links. That makes it a system to discuss with your installer, rather than simply a taller stance to admire in the driveway.
The product title says 2020–2023, while the current fitment table lists selected 2020–2022 applications. Confirm your exact year and trim with ICON before ordering.
We also carry the ICON Alpha 17x8.5 wheel in 5x5, 0mm offset and gun metal. Wheel fitment still needs its own checks for brake clearance, load rating, bore and hardware.

FOX: Put Damping on the Build Sheet

Lift height gets the attention. Shock selection deserves some of it, too. Our FOX catalog includes suspension hardware and service components alongside vehicle-specific coilover options.
A featured example is the 2019+ Ram 1500 DT 4WD 2.5 Performance Series Front Coilover with Remote Reservoir and DSC Adjustment, listed for 2–3 inches of lift. The product description highlights an aluminum body, increased oil volume and a serviceable design.
For a builder, the important conversation is matching the shock to the vehicle, suspension travel, finished weight and intended use. A remote reservoir is not permission to skip that homework. Confirm the exact Ram application, supplied quantity and adjustment guidance before purchase.
We also carry FOX service items such as replacement eyelet bushings and shock sleeves. Match those to the specific shock, not merely the vehicle badge.

King Shocks: Shocks, Coilovers and Control at Full Compression
There is more to our King Shocks selection than bump stops. We also carry vehicle-specific shocks and remote-reservoir coilovers, giving Jeep and Toyota owners more options to put on a properly planned suspension sheet.
Wrangler JL Front 2.0 Internal-Reservoir Shock: Match the Lift Range

The King 2018+ Jeep Wrangler JL Front 2.0-Diameter Internal-Reservoir Shock for 0–2 Inches of Lift is an option for JL owners shopping within that listed lift range. The description presents it as a vehicle-tuned OEM performance application.
This listing is sold each, even though the catalog photo shows two shocks. Confirm the exact year, trim, mounting configuration and required quantity before ordering. A shock specified for 0–2 inches of lift should not be assumed correct for a taller setup.

Toyota FJ Front 2.5 Remote-Reservoir Coilovers with Adjusters

For Toyota builders, we carry the King 2010+ Toyota FJ Front 2.5-Diameter Coilover Remote-Reservoir Shocks with Adjusters, listed as a pair.
This is a different suspension direction from the JL shock above: front coilovers, remote reservoirs and adjusters in a Toyota-specific application. Have King or your installer confirm the exact FJ model year, allowable height settings, mounting requirements and supporting suspension needs. Do not read “2010+” as unlimited model-year coverage.
The listing does not give us a reason to invent a lift-height range or promise tire clearance. Choose the configuration for your vehicle and loaded weight, then have the setup and adjustment guidance checked.

King Bump Stops: Remember the End of the Travel

Suspension planning is not only about how far the truck sits above the ground. It also includes what happens as the suspension approaches the end of its compression travel.
Our catalog includes the 2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK Front 2.0-Diameter Bump Stops, sold as a pair. The listing describes vehicle-specific mounting, an adjustable contact point and serviceable construction.
We also carry a 2021+ Ram 1500 TRX Rear 2.0-Diameter Bump Stop Kit. These are different applications, not interchangeable blue-and-silver accessories. Have a qualified suspension installer confirm travel, mounting and contact-point setup.

Eibach: Give the Springs Their Own Conversation

Springs are not just there to make the wheel gap look different. Eibach gives our customers options ranging from vehicle-specific lift springs to ERS race springs for carefully specified suspension setups.
For an off-road example, we carry the Bronco Raptor Pro-Lift Front and Rear Spring Kit for use with OE Fox electronic shocks. This is a spring kit, not a complete replacement coilover package. Confirm your year, expected ride height and the complete suspension application before ordering.
Our ERS offerings include coilover and tender springs, where dimensions and spring rate matter as much as the name on the box. Do not choose a race spring by appearance or assume it belongs in a street or trail application.

Skyjacker: Choose the Kit for the Actual Truck

Our Skyjacker catalog includes suspension lift kits, coil springs and application-specific components. It is a brand worth exploring when you want a lift solution tied to a particular vehicle rather than an assortment of parts selected by enthusiasm.
The Gladiator JT Mojave 2-Inch Suspension Lift Kit with Front and Rear Dual-Rate Springs is a good example of why trim matters. Its listing describes retaining the Mojave's factory internal-bypass shocks and hydraulic jounce bumpers, with supporting components including shock relocation brackets and sway-bar end links.
The title references 2020–2022; the fitment table includes 2020–2024 Mojave and 2024 Mojave X. Verify the exact kit application with Skyjacker. The description discusses 35-inch tires, so do not treat it as a guaranteed 37-inch clearance solution.

SoFlo Customs: Carry the Build Beyond the Suspension

SoFlo Customs Off-Road Parts brings several parts of the build into the same conversation. In our catalog, you will find examples spanning lift kits, lighting brackets, side steps, bumpers and exterior accessories.
The Gladiator SoFlo 4-Inch Lift Kit, listed for 2020–2026, includes progressive springs, four 2.5-inch-diameter shocks, control arms, bump stops, relocation brackets, an adjustable track bar and a steering stabilizer, according to the listing.
For access, we also carry the Gladiator Stationary Steel Side Steps. These offer a fixed-step alternative for a lifted truck, with steel construction and an Armor Black finish. Do not assume access steps have the same load-bearing function as dedicated rock sliders.
Plan each part around the finished vehicle. A bumper, loaded bed and larger tires all deserve a place in the suspension discussion before installation day.

Zone Offroad: Match the Details, Not Just the Brand

Our Zone Offroad catalog includes Nitro shocks and application-specific driveline components. It is another useful stop when the build calls for a particular component rather than an entirely new suspension package.
One example is the Nitro Shock listed at 25.20 inches by 15.20 inches by 2-3/8 inches, with S50/EB2 mounts. The description specifies nitrogen charging and says shocks are sold individually with bushings and sleeves.
Those dimensions and mount codes matter. Have your installer match the exact application and required travel; do not choose a shock because its overall appearance resembles the one coming off the truck.
We also carry a 1994–2001 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 Posi-Lok cable-operated engagement system, another reminder that the right part starts with the right vehicle details.

JKS Manufacturing: Give Suspension Geometry Some Respect

Great shocks do not replace a geometry plan. Our JKS Manufacturing options include the Wrangler JK Adjustable J-Flex Front Lower Control Arms, sold as a pair. The listing describes CNC-bent DOM tubing, adjustable length, rebuildable and greaseable ends, and factory-style rubber bushings at the non-adjustable ends.
These are supporting suspension components for a properly specified JK build, not a complete lift kit. Have your installer set the geometry and alignment for your actual suspension height and configuration.

We also carry the JKS Wrangler JK Drag Link Flip Kit for left-hand-drive applications. Its description targets lift heights of 3 inches and above and includes a drag link, track-bar bracket and tapered steering-arm insert.
Installation is not a casual bolt swap: the listing requires drilling and 3-inch front bump-stop extensions for clearance, with those extensions available separately. Confirm the complete steering, track-bar and suspension configuration with JKS and a qualified installer before purchasing.

Synergy Mfg: Do Not Forget the Supporting Joints

Suspension shopping should include the condition and compatibility of the supporting joints, not just the springs and shocks. Our Synergy Mfg catalog includes both non-knurled and knurled adjustable ball-joint kit listings for selected 2003–2013 Dodge Ram 1500/2500/3500 HD 4x4 applications.
The featured link below is the non-knurled version. Do not select between knurled and non-knurled versions by appearance or assume a shared year range means every axle fits. Have the manufacturer or installer verify the exact truck, axle and fit requirements first.
These are ball-joint components, not a lift kit or a universal cure for steering issues. They belong in a vehicle-specific inspection and suspension plan.

Different Brands. One Rule: Build with a Plan.
ICON, FOX, King Shocks, Eibach, Skyjacker, SoFlo Customs, Zone Offroad, JKS Manufacturing and Synergy Mfg give us different ways to approach suspension and off-road projects. The right choice starts with your vehicle, the way you use it and the weight it will actually carry.
Start with the model year, trim, engine, current suspension and tire goals. Work through fitment with a qualified installer, then choose the components that make sense together. Lift height alone does not guarantee tire clearance, and parts from different listings are not automatically a matched system.
Explore the linked products at Merrick Motorsports and turn the wish list into a build plan. Your truck deserves better than “my buddy said it should fit.”
Featured products are representative catalog examples, not a complete list of each brand's offerings. Photos may show additional equipment. Confirm current availability, exact manufacturer fitment, package contents and installation requirements before ordering.
